Christina Colston
Christina Is a Flute Player, Instrument Repair Tech, Sister, Daughter, and Instructor.
She holds a bachelor's degree in music education from SWOSU and multiple certifications for the repair of every different woodwind and brass instrument from the Colorado Institute of Musical Instrument Technologies (CIOMIT).
Beginning her apprentice years with Weldon Collier at Midwest Music in Weatherford, OK, she quickly became the primary technician when Weldon retired. After a few years, she moved to CO to work with Dan Parker and colleagues at CIOMIT, teaching and becoming general manager for a time.
Together, Dan and Weldon have over 100 years of experience, and they passed as much of it as they could on to Christina and the many others they instructed. In 2019, Christina was certified as a Straubinger Technician, and in 2023, she was certified as a Muramatsu technician.
After working with Dan for nearly 3 full years, Christina moved back home to OK, where she hopes to pass on her knowledge and build a successful music store in Oklahoma City near her family.

Daniel Brinkley
Daniel Is an Oboist, Instructor, Woodwind Repair Tech, and a Friend.
Daniel began his apprenticeship with Christina in the spring of 2022. His goal is to become a refined technician.
During his time in Oklahoma, he is also working toward an MDS degree at the University of Oklahoma in music and business. Daniel started playing oboe under the instruction of Kay Werth. He then continued his early college instruction through Cindy Thomas at Friends University. While at the University of Oklahoma, he studied oboe under Dr. Dan Schwartz. Daniel continues to study under Dr. Shawn Welk at OU on oboe to further refine his performance skills.
In the Fall of 2022, Daniel began taking advanced clarinet repair classes with former Buffet-Crampon technician Bruce Marking alongside his apprenticeship with Christina Colston @TheTunefulTech. In 2023, Daniel attended CIOMIT to study brass repair and saxophone repair as well as improve his current skills. He continues his studies with both Master technicians and is continuously looking for opportunities to further his studies.
