Introducing The Tuneful Tech – Your Local Music Repair Experts
The Tuneful Tech is a music repair and retail shop located in Oklahoma City, OK. Since opening our doors in 2018, we've been dedicated to supporting wind players of all ages and skill levels. Our focus is on expert repairs and restorations for woodwind instruments, including flutes, piccolos, clarinets, saxophones, oboes, and bassoons—as well as professional cleanings and play conditionings for brass instruments.
Our founder and lead technician, Christina, has been repairing and refurbishing woodwinds from student to professional level since 2011. She holds Straubinger Certification (2019) and Muramatsu Certification (2023)—specialized training that reflects her commitment to precision and craftsmanship. Christina also trained in brass repair in 2011 and offers thorough chemical cleanings to eliminate calcium buildup and "green slime" that can be difficult to remove at home.
Daniel, our journeyman-apprentice technician, has been studying woodwind and brass repair under Christina and other experts since 2021. As a professional oboist, he brings a double reed player’s perspective to the bench and offers hand-scraped oboe reeds tailored specifically for you and your instrument.

Business Hours
Monday–Friday: 10 AM – 5 PM
Saturday: 10 AM – 3 PM
Closed on major holidays. Occasionally closed for off-site repairs, school visits, and events through our industry partnerships and affiliations. Feel free to call ahead, especially during January-March.

Pickup and Delivery
We offer in-store pick-up and drop-off by appointment during regular business hours. Limited delivery is available by request in specific cases, typically available for school visits or coordinated event pick-ups with our clients. Please contact us directly to coordinate any delivery or special arrangements.
